Research interests:

More than 25 years experience in Scientific and consulting in Agricultural Engineering with special interest in: Planning and management of rural territory, livestock waste management, landscape survey and representation, soil bio-remediation.

Research activities:

He coordinates various “research units” in the framework of several international Projects financed by EU or private aimed at the analysis of the territory and techniques of bio remediation:

In the past ten years he was involved as:

  • Technical responsible for LIFE Nature IT/000153 “Azioni Urgenti per la Salvaguardia dei Siti Natura 2000 dell’Alta Tuscia” up to October 2005 (one year);
  • Manager engineer for the construction of a biomass gasification plant (5 MW) in Rossano for Guascor S.A. (two years);
  • Researcher  in the UE FP5 project “Systems approach to environmentally acceptable farming” (unit chief A. Leone);
  • Researcher in the project of “Implementation of a Geographic Information System for Sustainable Agricultural Development in Hungary” (unit chief Ripa);
  • Coordinator of thematic cartography for wildlife fauna of Rieti Province;
  • EU COST "Setting critical targets for phosphorus” WG3/WG4 Joint in Macaulay Land Use Research Institute of Aberdeen as Italian member;
  • Collaboration to the planning of Tuscania natural reserve (unit chief A. Leone);
  • Collaboration to SIC planning “Fiume Marta”, “Sughereta di Tuscania” Calanchi di Civita di Bagnoregio” and “Monti Vulsini (unit chief A. Leone);
  • Coordinator of a project of a biomass power plant for the “Parco Regionale dei Monti Lucretili”;
  • In 2008/09 was responsible of a project on buffalo manure management funded by Campania Region;
  • In 2009/10 was chief of a research unit of CRAA Campania for development of a software for manure management;
  • In 2009/10 cooperated to a research financed from CRAA managed by EURECO s.p.a. for planning of management of biomasses in Campania Region;
  • In 2010/11 was scientific responsible of a project on buffalo manure and precision farming management sponsored by Campania Region
