Project PNRR "National Biodiversity Future Center"

The main objective of this research is the multilevel characterization of the dynamics and factors affecting biodiversity and population centers in order to promote targeted forestry design actions and implementation of Nature Based Solution (NBS) suitable for different urban contexts.

The project aims to study the plant, tree and shrub component to select the most suitable species for the implementation of forestation interventions and, consequently, monitor the behavior of native and introduced plant species, verifying that they achieve the reproductive success that depends on their interactions with environmental, biotic and abiotic variables.

A system for managing proximate sensing and classification procedures from satellite data will be implemented.

Integration of proximate data with remote sensing data will be used for phenology of urban species.
